The launch. An F1 car has roughly three times more torque than its rear tyres can hold in first gear, so off the line the engine is never the limit — the clutch is. Your launch revs set how much torque it feeds. Too little and the tyres never reach the grip they had; too much and they spin past their peak, where a tyre gives less force, not more.
The gears. An engine makes its best torque in a band, and the gearbox exists to keep it there. Shift early and the next gear starts below the band; sit on the limiter and you are holding it past its peak. The gearbox is seamless-shift, so wheel speed carries straight through the change.
Every metre is integrated as you drive it — engine torque, gearing, slip-ratio grip, downforce, weight transfer and drag — in fixed steps, so a faster screen buys no advantage. The car is a representative modern F1 machine (798 kg, ~735 kW, peak grip near μ = 1.85), not any team’s telemetry.
